Real rooms don’t behave the way algorithms expect.

Our early pairing code got out — it’s what the copycats are still running. It sounds great on paper, then falls apart in a real club. That was our prototype. The current generation is AI-powered, with thousands of real games behind it, and it picks your game the way a good coach would. We tested that. It gets better every week we play. That’s the part nobody can copy.

Your club’s Stripe. Your club’s money.

Every club connects its own Stripe account and stays the merchant of record for its own takings. Members pay on Stripe’s own payment form, so card details go straight to Stripe and never reach ShuttleStats. Each payment is created directly on the club’s Stripe account, so the money lands in the club’s own Stripe balance and pays out to the club’s own bank — ShuttleStats never holds or pools club money, and that includes the club credit a member tops up and any refund the club issues. What ShuttleStats charges is a small platform fee on the payments members make, agreed with the club up front and taken by Stripe out of that same payment: there is no subscription and no monthly cost, and a session with nothing to pay raises no payment at all and so carries no fee. A club can absorb that fee or pass it on to the member — and where it is passed on, the member sees it in the total before they pay.

Every club on ShuttleStats gets its own space, carrying the club’s own colours and logo. It is one platform themed per club rather than a separate build each, which is why a club gets it on day one and why every improvement reaches every club at once.

That is what the courtside tablet is for. It sits by the courts showing who is on and what they are playing to, and when a game ends a player taps their court and records the score. Nobody types the night up afterwards, and nobody has to stand at the board all evening. Members join with a link — and anyone who never gets round to it is added to the roster by you, booked in by you, and still has every game and every rating counted. They can claim their player later and keep the lot.

No. Nothing leaks between clubs.

No. Every club’s players, games, bookings and money are stored separately from every other club’s, and no club can see another’s. Someone who plays at two clubs has a separate profile in each, with separate stats, and decides in each club on its own whether theirs is public — a choice made at your club is not a choice made anywhere else.

Only if you switch it on.

Only if it’s switched on — the public Clubs Directory listing is opt-in and off by default, you can keep private and junior session details to yourself, and you can leave the directory whenever you like. Your club’s own pages are a different thing: from the day your club goes live they are reachable by anyone with the link, and search engines can read them.

Search finds you. They book themselves.

Most clubs are invisible online — a Meetup thread or a Facebook group nobody quite finds. Every ShuttleStats club can have a real presence on the web from the day it goes live: a page for each session it runs and the venue it plays at, published so that search engines and AI assistants can read them, plus a listing in the public Clubs Directory. The Clubs Directory listing is opt-in and off until it is switched on, private and junior sessions can be kept back, and a club can leave the directory whenever it likes — but once a club is live its pages are reachable by anyone with the link, and new players can find the club and book their first session without an organiser lifting a finger.

They paid in advance. You’re covered.

The cancellation terms you set are shown to members before they book, and capacity, the waiting list and refunds on cancellation are handled for them. Because members pay in advance, a late drop-out no longer leaves an organiser personally out of pocket for the court.
